Steve Lombardi, President & CEO
Steve brings over 13 years of online marketing and entrepreneurial experience to ExpertHub, including leading a direct navigation network, building media properties optimized for organic search and operating a diversified performance marketing network that delivered leads and customers on a pay-per-customer basis. Steve has managed over $50 million dollars of annual online media spend across search, display and email.
Prior to joining ExpertHub, Steve served as the President of Firstlook, a direct navigation network, and as CMO of Connexus , a diversified online performance marketing platform. Steve started his online career in 1999 as the co-founder of TheMan.com. He has also held leadership positions at American Media/Weider Publications, diCarta and Ernst & Young LLP.
Steve holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly — SLO, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and an MBA from Stanford University.
Marcus Lopez, VP of Marketing
Marcus leads the marketing effort of building out user experiences and generating traffic to ExpertHub’s set of web properties. He brings 10 years of Internet Marketing experience, including extensive product development, traffic acquisition and monetization expertise.
Prior to ExpertHub, Marcus was Vice President of Marketing at Firstlook, managing the media properties and organic search business. Marcus began his career in Asia at Kimo.com, the leading Chinese internet portal, which was acquired by Yahoo in 2000. Marcus has also held leadership positions at Yahoo, eBay, Traffic Marketplace and Connexus Corporation.
Marcus holds a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley, graduating with highest honors and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
Steve Rossow, VP of Sales
Steve brings 25 years of sales, marketing and business development experience, applying technology, Internet products and services to consumers, SMB and Fortune 500 organizations. Steve joined us from Eforcemedia, growing their lead generation business through strategic alliances. Steve was the Business Development Director for AVAYA, launching IP Telephony into the cable industry, Fortune 500 and SMB markets. Steve was also recruited to AT&T, getting its WorldNet service launched from scratch. As Worldnetís first Business Development Director, Steve created strategic alliances with over 80 companies and created the Internet for Everyone Sweepstakes. He also launched Worldnetís e-commerce initiatives. Steve left AT&T to become the Vice President of Business Development of iMall, Inc., a publicly-held e-commerce enabler. He played a pivotal role in a $14 million investment from First Data Corporation to build their e-commerce gateway and created the relationship and eventual sale of iMall to Excite@Home in 1999 for $565 million.
Gavin Chan, Director of Engineering
Gavin is the director of engineering for ExpertHub, the leading internet marketing company, where he manages the company's engineering, Ops, and IT functions. Gavin brings to ExpertHub over 15 years of online and enterprise software development experience. He has extensive enterprise software architecture and development experience, and played leading roles in successful software development, product researches and management functions. Gavin also has a diversity technical background on open source software, LAMP, Java and Windows technologies.
Prior to joining ExpertHub, Gavin served as software architect at YouSendIt, a digital file delivery SaaS company, where he led and managed the deliveries of many successful projects including the initial launch of the corporate suite line of product and the YouSendIt Content management system. Before YouSendit, Gavin was one of the founding engineering team members at SpikeSource, a pioneer in open source productization and solutions company backed by KPCB, where he bootstrapped and delivered many software projects including the company website, developer network and community websites. Prior to SpikeSource, Gavin was software architect at SEEC - a leading business process integration company, principal software engineer at Asera - a business process application platform and service provider, and senior windows software engineer at PointCast - the internet push technology pioneer company.
Gavin holds a BSE degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Master degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
